Pelham Memorial High School graduating senior Samantha Gregware was awarded the $15,000 scholarship by the Rotary Club of the Pelhams.
 
A high achieving student who has won medicine and science awards and had internships at Mount Sinai in Behavioral and Genetic Research,  she is Vice President of  the National Honor Society as well as a member of the Science, English, Social Studies and French honor societies. She is the Class of 2024 treasurer. Her extracurricular activities include competitive dance, Women’s Empowerment Club, Students for Refugees, and French Club. She tutors students in chemistry, living environment and algebra.
 
Ms. Gregware plans to attend Duke University in the fall and major in neuroscience.
 
In addition to awarding an annual $15,000 scholarship to a graduating PMHS senior, the local Rotary club recognizes PMHS Scholars of the Month during the school year and is affiliated with the PMHS Interact Club.
