Three former Rotary Scholarship winners—Charlotte Howard (2020), Caroline Spana (2021) and Grace Condon (2022)— were honored at the Rotary Club of the Pelhams luncheon on Aug. 2 at Rockwells. They were presented with checks for one quarter of their scholarship awards, which are presented annually.
 
During the meeting, the three students shared their experiences this summer and during the last school year.
 
Charlotte Howard, who is attending Boston University and due to graduate in 2024, had a semester abroad in Florence, Italy during the past school year. She is a communications major and had an internship with iHeart Radio.
 
Caroline Spana, who is attending Villanova University and due to graduate in 2025, is an accounting major with a minor in Artificial Intelligence and Italian. This summer she spent one month in Italy.
 
Grace Condonwho is attending SUNY Binghamton and due to graduate in 2026, took several science courses during her freshman year as she tries to decide what particular area she wants to choose to pursue. This summer she has worked as a lifeguard and continued her blanket making volunteer project started while in high school.
 
Rotary’s 2023 Scholarship winner was Sean Condon, who is attending the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
