ANNUAL FUNDRAISER: TASTINGS XVI
TO SUPPORT LIFE-SAVING PROGRAMS AROUND THE CORNER & AROUND THE WORLD
Since 1947, with “Service Above Self” as its mission, the Rotary Club of the Pelhams has been providing programs, projects and events that continue to enhance the lives of individuals and families throughout our community… and beyond. Dedicated mostly to children in need, the Club will celebrate over 70 years of service, on a Sunday, in 2021 (date TBD) from 4 to 7pm at the Pelham Country Club to support some of Rotary programs by hosting their Annual Fundraiser – Tastings XVI. Our 2020 event is postponed due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. However, an invitation to donate to the Club's Tastings' Programs and the Club's Scholarship Fund Program is in the mail.
The money raised at the Tastings XVI (and 2020 mailing) will help support the Gift of Life's program of heart surgery for children from less developed countries through medical missions and hosting children here. Other programs supported include CPR courses; local soup kitchens; and local programs for children.
As with all of its previous “Tastings”, the fundraiser promises to be another successful “gastronomical” event that will include a wide selection of different culinary treats from local restaurants… wonderful wines and beers… and entertainment.
So look for the confirmed date…for Tastings XVI…on a Sunday in 2021 from 4 to 7pm at the Pelham Country Club, to help our Rotary save lives… around the corner and around the world! It’s a fun event for a tremendous cause. For more information about the Rotary Club of the Pelhams, please contact us.
