Paul Harris Fellowship Recipients

Rotary International has a unique way of recognizing contributions to the organization in the name of Rotary’s Founder, Paul Harris.

People who make a contribution of $1,000 to The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International — or have one made in their name – can become Paul Harris Fellows.

Mr. Al Brush of the Rotary Club of Laurel, Mississippi became the first Paul Harris Fellow in 1957.  Over 1 million Paul Harris Fellowships have been awarded since then.

Annually, the Rotary Club of the Pelhams contributes $1,000 to the Rotary Foundation and is thus able to award a Fellowship. The Committee each year has the challenging task of selecting someone who exemplifies Rotary in every way: fellowship, spirit, hard work and enthusiasm.
